More About the Nike Free RN

This model was created in 2002 from Nike’s curiosity from Stanford athletes training barefoot on the university's golf course. That interest caused Nike’s team to develop a shoe that felt natural and weightless, similar to bare feet. The team spent eight years studying the biomechanics of runners' feet in motion. The results yielded a profound understanding of the foot's natural landing angle, pressure and toe position, allowing Nike designers to build an unconventional and flexible running shoe from the inside out.

‘Nike’, the name itself gives the feeling of comfort! The different types and lengths of laces gives wide range for selection and style.

If you’re looking for a new pair for everyday use, this one’s for you. It’s stylish and comfortable and you’d fall in love with the sole’s flexibility and cushion.

I wish my fave loafers offer as much comfort as the Free RN!!

What you’ll love about the Free RN is that it offers maximum comfort and feel but without a sky-is-the-limit price tag!! That’s why I got myself 3 pairs in the first place!

A happy, happy Free RN user here. 🙂

I’m not much into flats but these look super comfy and light. The black-and-white color combo would be my preference when I purchase one. I think it would jive with most of my wardrobe well.

    sunshine smile.

My no-fuss everyday shoes! Didn’t think it can get any better but that midsole update is great. I guess my 2017 walking gear is now sorted!

Looks like a minor upgrade but it means a lot to runners. A “responsive” midsole helps deload stress on the foot as it contacts the ground. It adjusts to the demand or the amount of force it absorbs. Can’t be fully appreciated by looking at it but definitely a genius one. Great job Nike!
